Kit Features & Gimmicks

Articulation

• The head can swivel/pivot on a ball-and-socket/hinge neck joint.
• The torso can tilt back and forth or sideways (in a mostly limited extent)
• The shoulder joints can...
• Swing frontwards/backwards in an extent.

• The arms can swing frontwards/backwards and/or raise horizontally on a joint designed for the transformation gimmicks.
• The upper arms can rotate.
• Both the elbow and knees are double-jointed.

• The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
• The waist can only rotate 45 degrees.
• Each of the hip joint axis piece can be extended to expand its range of articulation.
• The upper thighs can swing frontwards/backwards on a peg-and-socket joint, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each piece.
• Front, side, and rear skirt armors can pivot to provide clearance for the leg articulation.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks

• The Index-to-Pinky finger parts can be swapped.
• Any of the weapons can be wielded by the Eclipse's hands, though it depends on which interchangeable finger you're using.
• The cockpit can be opened to reveal pilot figurine.
• Eclipse Gundam can convert into MA Mode.
• The side armors can be removed to form Beam Rifles.
• The grips can be removed to form Beam Sabers.
• Both sides of each Beam Shield can slide out to form deployed mode.
• The Beam effects can attach onto the Beam Shields as well.
• Eclipse Gundam can mount with the other backpacks from other MG Gundam SEED Kits, though it depends on the compatibility:
• The Aile Striker from the MG Aile Strike Gundam (Ver. RM) can attach onto this kit without any adapters.
• For the Launcher and Sword Strikers from the MG Launcher/Sword Strike Gundam, you must attach the extension adapters for the Striker packs' shoulder armors in both MS or MA modes as well.
• The Force Silhouette Pack from the MG Force Impulse Gundam can attach onto this kit by swapping the back pieces with the specialized adapters made for the Silhouette Pack.
• The Gunner Wizard Pack from the MG Gunner ZAKU Warrior (Lunamaria Hawke Custom) can attach onto this kit by swapping the back pieces with the specialized adapters made for the Wizard Pack. (In MA Mode, you must pivot the wing/arm parts to provide clearance for the pack.)
• Eclipse Gundam can attach onto Action Bases 1 or 4, with one of the two adapters for which mode you're using.

Tips & Tricks

• For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied with Gundam Markers or Mr. Color paints.
• Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
• If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent and the soft parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
• As the kit reuses two runners from the MG Freedom Gundam (Ver. 2.0) kit, care must be taken while assembling/posing the hip joint, mainly the J4 piece, as it can break if not carefully handled.
• The Bandai Hobby Online Shop exclusive Maneuver Striker or the Raijin Striker can be used on this Gunpla.
