Articulation

• The head can swivel/tilt on a double-sided ball-joint neck.

Tips & Tricks

• For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied & panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
• Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
• If using matte/flat-finish topcoat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying topcoat while the said parts are separated.
• The middle, ring, pinky fingers can be sliced off for individual articulation. (NOTE: May decrease gripping stability.)
• The kit can combine with the MG G-Fighter. (Sold separately)

B-Club related customizations

• High Detail Manipulators 173 and 174 can be used for this kit.

Variants

Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.

Notes & Trivia

• Unlike previous releases that uses a darker deco featured in the Gihren's Greed games, this kit uses a more accurate coloring from the official design.
• Like the 1996 Master Grade, the coloration used for the Core Fighter is an entirely original deco, as the actual coloration of the unit is not present in any media.
• The pre-release prototype of the kit features red-colored forehead cameras instead of greenish-blue.^[1]
• While the development history in the manual mentions Amuro Ray (likely the novelization version of the character, given the Mobile Suit's origin), the pilot figurine is not referred to as such.
• The figurine is also not labeled as Giorgio Miguel, the G-3's pilot from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Deleted Affair: Portrait Of Young Comet manga. Like Amuro, the figurine can be unofficially repurposed in this manner.
