Kit Features & Gimmicks

Articulation

• The head can swivel on a double-sided ball-and-socket joint.
• The torso can tilt frontward or backwards in a limited extent.
• The shoulder joints can swing frontward.
• The arms can...
• Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
• Raise horizontally.
• The upper arms can rotate.
• Elbow joints can be bent up to 90 degrees.
• The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
• The waist can rotate in a limited extent.
• The hip joint axis is a see-saw type, allowing it to lift upwards or downwards on one side.
• The upper thighs can swing frontwards (and backwards in a limited extent) on a peg-and-socket joint, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each piece (though in a very limited manner due to being hindered by plastic panels.).
• Front and waist skirt armors can pivot to provide clearance for the leg articulation.
• Knee joints can be bent up to 100 degrees.
• The ankles can pivot/swivel to an extent.
• The Perfect Pack's binders can be posed on an articulated arm unit.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks

• The hands are swappable.

Tips & Tricks

• For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied with Gundam Markers or Mr. Color paints.
• Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied decals.
• If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.

Customizing-based tips

• An extension piece for the cross-compatible rear mounting point is needed if one wants to attach most of the 1/144-scaled High Grade backpacks from other kits. (The extension panel for the Perfect Pack must be removed first.)

Variants

Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.
