Articulation

• The head can rotate/tilt on a double-sided ball-joint neck.
• The torso can tilt forwards or backward in a limited manner.
• The shoulder joints can tilt frontwards.

  • Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
  • Raise horizontally.
• The upper arms can rotate.
• Both elbow and knees feature double-jointed parts.
• The waist can rotate, though in a somewhat limited extent due to the skirt armor panels.
• The hip joint axis is a see-saw-type joint.
• The upper thighs can swing frontward (and backward in a very limited extent due to the single-piece rear skirt armor) on a peg, raise horizontally and/or rotate on each piece.

Tips & Tricks

• For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied/panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
• Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and paint details.
• Care must be taken while cutting the...
  • Yellow antenna parts off from the runner: the opposite sides of each antenna can retain some burrs if not trimmed/sliced properly.
  • The blue torso piece (G1), as excessive force may develop stress marks.

Customizing-based tips

• Front skirt's joint can be optionally separated.
• If one chooses, the N2 piece (The shield's joint) can be replaced with a polycap with a similar shape.
• Other Striker Packs from said HG Gundam Seed/HGBF kits can be mounted onto the Strike Gundam:
  • The I.W.S.P. from the HG Strike Rouge IWSP can be used on this kit.
  • The Gunbarrel Striker from the HG 105 Gunbarrel Dagger and 1/144 Option Parts Set Gunpla 14 (Gunbarrel Striker).
  • The Multiple Assault Striker from the HG Perfect Strike Gundam can be used on this kit to create the Perfect Strike Gundam.
  • The Gunpla can use the Striker Packs from the 1/144 Option Parts Set Gunpla 01 (Aile Striker) and the 1/144 Option Parts Set Gunpla 02 (Launcher Striker & Sword Striker) to create the Launcher, Sword, or the Perfect Strike Gundam, also additional weapons (Strike Gundam's Bazooka, Grand Slam Anti-Ship Sword, DINN's Anti-Aircraft Shotgun) from the former add-on can be used as well.
• Though undocumented in the instructions, the extension rear fin panel, the Hyper Impulse Cannon/Anti-Ship Sword joint, and the Battery Pack from the HG Perfect Strike Gundam can mount onto this Aile Striker.
• The Bazooka from the 1/144 System Weapon 010 (or the 1/144 Option Parts Set Gunpla 01 (Aile Striker)) can be used for this Gunpla.
• The Grand Slam Sword accessory from the HG Gundam SEED Custom Kit can be used for this Gunpla.
• The Strike Gundam's camera eyes & shield can be optionally repainted (though the latter can reuse the one from the HGCE kit) into Strike Rouge's colors to represent Kira Yamato's unit.
• The Antenna and the weapons from the Gundam ACE March 2014 issue exclusive 1/144 Mercury Lev A can be used to convert the Strike Gundam into Toru Satsuki's Strike Gundam.

• This Gunpla is the first Strike Gundam kit to have a pair of plastic Armor Schneider accessories, which is previously released as a Resin add-on kit by B-Club.
