  • The hip joint axis can rotate frontwards/backward on each side.
  • The upper thigh joints can swing frontward/backward (to a limited extent) on a peg, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each thigh.
  • The knees are double-jointed, in a rather limited degree.
  • The ankles are ball-jointed.
  • The front toes can pivot.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks

  • Any of the included weapons can be wielded by the weapon-holding hands.

  • Beam Saber hilts can be optionally removed from the mounts as handheld weapons.
  • The Beam Saber mounts can be optionally replaced with the Rifle/Shield adapter pieces if one wishes to store the weapon on.
    • The shield's white panels must be rearranged first.
  • The front skirt armor can be optionally removed if one chooses to display the non-transforming Core Fighter individually.
  • Turn A Gundam can mount onto the Action Base. (The panel underneath the hip joint must be removed to reveal the port)

Tips & Tricks

  • For better results, some or most of the details need to be painted and panel-lined with Gundam markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
  • Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers, and if any, marking decals, and painted details.
    • If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the parts are separated.
  • The Effect Unit "Moonlight Butterfly" for HGCC ∀ Gundam can be used for this kit.

Customizing-based tips

  • The front skirt's joint can be optionally separated.
  • The Gundam Hammer included in HG Ver.G30th RX-78-2 Gundam can be used as Turn A's own Gundam Hammer.
  • The cross-shaped groove on the blue chest can be optionally painted white to represent Syd Mead's design.

Variants

Italicized items are exclusives.

Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.
  • HGBF WD-M01MS ∀ Gundam Shin

Notes & Trivia

  • This Gunpla is the first and the only addition to the High Grade Correct Century subline.
  • Though concealed by most body parts, the white polycaps were meant to blend in with certain white-colored areas, such as the waist frame and the joint socket for the arms' shoulder section.
  • The back shoulder armor parts connected to the rear body can be removed to provide a better range of motion for the shoulder armor and backward arm articulation.
  • Due to design limitations on the weapon-holding hands, they cannot properly hold the Beam Rifle's upper grip horizontally due to the molded pegs needed for the weapon's handle and the Beam Saber hilts. It still can be wielded vertically, though the front pegs on the finger area cannot secure together.
