Kit Features & Gimmicks

Articulation

• The head can tilt, rotate, and move forwards/backwards via a hinge-and-ball-joint neck.
• Shoulder joints can swing forwards/backwards.
• The arms can...
  • Swing on a peg-and-socket joint.
  • Raise horizontally.
• The upper arms can rotate.
• The elbows are single-hinged and can bend up to about 100 degrees.
• The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
• The waist can rotate 360 degrees.
• Front and side skirt armors can lift up to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
• The upper thighs can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint, though the backwards articulation is limited due to the single-piece rear skirt armor.
• The knees are double-jointed and can bend up to about 135 degrees.
• The ankle joints can pivot/tilt in a very limited extent.
• Due to being used with transformation, the front feet can pivot.

Weapons & Other Gimmicks

• The hands are swappable.
• Each of the weapons must be wielded by their respective hand parts.
• The separate beam saber hilts molded in storage mode are placed inside opening hatches on the backpack. These are non-removable.
• The Re-GZ has a total of four grenade launchers: one on each forearm and one on each side waist armor.
  • The ones on the forearm has a panel sliding gimmick which opens the grenade hatch. The grenades are not removable, though.
• The Shield can be mounted onto any forearms via an adapter, though the default position is on the left.
  • The shield can also attach onto either one of the two positions on the adapter.
• The Re-GZ can be transformed between mobile suit (MS) and Waverider (WR) mode.
• The Re-GZ can be mounted on an Action Base(sold separately) in either mode. A separate adapter piece is provided for the Waverider mode.
  • The Back Weapon System can be displayed as a separate unit. The adapter for the Waverider mode is required when mounting on an Action Base.

Tips & Tricks

• For better results, most/some of the details are needed to be applied/panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
• Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, paint details and marking decals.
• The 1/144 Re-GZ Soft Vinyl Dummy Ballooncan be used to display along with this kit to represent its decoys.
