Kit Features & Gimmicks

Articulation

• The head can be posed on a multi-jointed neck.
• The chest and rump areas can slightly swivel on a single ball-and-socket joint and/or move left or right on a universal joint.
• The front shoulders and upper thighs can swivel on a double-sided ball-and-socket joint connection.
• The forearm and hock areas are double-jointed.
• The forefoot and hindfoots can pivot and/or swivel on a ball-and-socket/universal joint connection.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks

  • Convert between default or cruising modes.
  • Interchange between Twin Railguns or Missile Pod.
• Beam Fang effect parts can attach onto the BuCUE head.
• The panel located on the lower rear of the BuCUE's chest can be removed to reveal a mounting port for various display stands, such as the BA-1 Display Stand or Action Bases. (Sold separately.)

Tips & Tricks

• For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied/panel-lined with Gundam Markers or Mr. Color paints.
• Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
  • If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the softer parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.

Customizing-based tips

• The BuCUE Tactical Reconnaissance Type head from the HG Gundam Astray Red Frame (Flight Unit) can be used to replace its head.

Notes & Trivia

• Though debuted in the first SEED Anime, the Gunpla is labeled with a SEED Destiny logo.
• As with most HG SEED kits, the HG BuCUE is discontinued in favor of the HD Remastered release.
