Weapons/Other Gimmicks

  • Shield can mount onto any of the forearms, though the default position is on the left.

Tips & Tricks

  • For better results, some or most of the details need to be applied/panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
  • Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers, and if any, marking decals.
    • If using a matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray it on the translucent parts. This can be achieved by masking or spraying the top coat while the said parts are separated.
  • Care should be taken when handling the ball-and-socket waist joint, as its tight construction may cause it to break if excessive force is applied.
  • The yellow Bird Mode claws are noted to be difficult to assemble, so use caution when applying force.

Notes & Trivia

  • This Gunpla is first revealed at the 63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show held on May 14 - 18, 2025.
  • The Gunpla's design is based on the 3D CAD sculpt of the HGAC kit.
  • The single-piece hand parts, while improving grip stability, prevent them from wielding accessories with non-open 3mm handles.
  • Though likely due to a stocking error, the Gunpla saw a very early release in Australian markets before its street date in Japan.
  • Despite the Gunpla's Bird Mode being undocumented in stock renders/photos for six months after its reveal and in the instruction manual, the peg and tab holes on the shield and the backpack, and the similar transformation areas allow the builders to figure out the transformation by themselves, as seen in a few in-hand reviews. However, some limitations prevented it from being mostly accurate, such as the single-piece red foot parts and single-hinged yellow claws on the forearms.
